Mark en Jennifer in Canada

Hi, we’re here again.

We’re almost there, we almost bought our house. We have to sign the last papers in a couple of weeks. The mortgage is  done. We signed the papers for that. We just need the lawyer to sign papers as well.
We can renovate a bit right away too, because we negotiated some reno’s in the mortgage. We’ll be able to get a new floor in and new windows. For now those are the main things.
After that small things like new curtains,  coat hangers, shoe shelf, new dining set and a dishwasher. (Mark wants a dishwasher, Jennifer can live without).
Maybe Amanda can be our dishwasher.

We has a whole bunch of rain lately. We had water in our basement, but the pump is doing it’s job now. 2 weeks ago the sewer system in Bellevue couldn’t keep up with the rain. We had to haul buckets of water out of the basement. Later out neighbour helped us out with an extra pump.

Finally it’s getting sunny after all the rain. We can finally enjoy the nice weather.

AND. Mark is running. At the time of the video Mark did about 6 runs to build up to a 10k. Bought new shoes too!

Pregnancy is going good. Jenn is 13 weeks pregnant and in 3 weeks we’ll go see the doctor again for a checkup, and we should be able to hear the little heart beating. An Ultrasound will be in another month from that. Check the picture of Jenn’s belly.

Work is busy for the both of us. Jennifer went to Fete Franskasoise, where they had tents with activities and people giving demonstrations etc. Jenn was there selling her jewellery. She did alright for the amount of people that were actually there. There were about 100 visitors. In the mean time Mark was at a fishing competition with his colleague (as a spectator). Jennifer bought a new fishing rod, but didn’t catch anything yet.

Mark is going to see a football game (Eskimos vs. Riders). He went for the first time last year. He’s hooked and someone asked to come along.

We’re very happy The Netherlands reached the finals of the World Cup soccer! Mark would’ve rather seen them play Germany, but Spain is fine too. It should be a good game.

Mark is being a nerd about the running. He even brings his phone with GPS to track time, speed and pace etc. and shares it online.
